Message of the Day: Surrender - சரணாகதியின் உண்மையான அர்த்தத்தை அறிவீர்களா?

Sri Mother says: .......if someone can truly know what surrender is and total trust, then it is infinitely easier, three-fourths of the worry and difficulties are over................ And if through aspiration, the inner will, self-giving and true surrender one can enter into contact with the higher regions or even the supreme region, from up there the supreme determinism will come down and transform all the intermediate determinisms and it will be able to bring about in a so-to-say almost inexistent span of time what would have otherwise taken either years or lives to be accomplished. But this is the only way. A Question to Mother :...... What is the sign to indicate that a sadhak’s determination to surrender to the Divine is having practical effect in his life?” Sri Mother says: ....The determination to surrender brings certain results. The first result is simply to be obedient without questioning, and the second is to have the power of rejecting all influences except that of the Divine. These are great results. ஆசிரம வீடு ஒன்றில் இரு குடும்பங்கள் வசித்தன. மாடி வீட்டுக் குழந்தை மீது கீழ்வீட்டுப் பெண்ணுக்குப் பிரியம். தினமும் குழந்தையோடு வந்து விளையாடுவார். குழந்தைக்கு வயிற்றுப் போக்கு. ஆசிரம டாக்டர் வைத்தியம் செய்கிறார். 10 நாட்களாயின. பலனில்லை. 10-ஆம் நாள் கீழ்வீட்டுப் பெண், குழந்தையைப் பார்க்க வந்தவர் குழந்தை துவண்டு கிடப்பதைக் கண்டு திகைத்து, கண்கள் வருத்தத்தால் நிறைந்துவிட்டதைப் பார்த்து, அவருடனிருந்தவர் நேரே விளையாட்டு மைதானத்திற்குப் போனார். அன்னை அப்பொழுது அங்கிருந்தார். குழந்தையின் நிலைமையை அன்னையிடம் சொன்னார்.அதே நிமிஷம் குழந்தை துள்ளி எழுந்தான். வேறொருவர் டாக்டரிடம் சென்று, அவரை அழைத்து வந்தார். வந்த டாக்டருக்கு ஒன்றும் புரியவில்லை. பத்து நாளாகப் பலிக்காத மருந்து அன்னையிடம் கூறிய அதே நேரம் பலித்தது என்பது டாக்டருக்கு வியப்பாயிற்று. அன்னைக்குச் செய்தி எட்டியவுடன் பிரச்சினை இதுபோல்தீருவதே அன்னை தடையின்றி செயல்படுவதாகும். மனிதன் அறிவால் செயல்படுகிறான், அன்னைக்கு அறிவு தடை; உணர்வால் செயல்படுகிறான், உணர்வு தடை; பழக்கத்தால் செயல்படுகிறான் அது பெருந்தடை. இவற்றுள் உணர்வின் தடையே மிகச் சிறியது. தடையின்றி ஆன்மாவால் எப்படிச் செயல்படுவது? குழந்தை அவதிப்படுகிறான், என்ன செய்தால் சரி என்று சிந்தித்தால், அது அறிவால் செயல்படுவதாகும். அவன் வேதனை எனக்குத் தாங்கவில்லை என்றால் உணர்வால் செயல்படுவதாகும். பிரச்சினை என்றால் டாக்டரைக் கூப்பிடுவது பழக்கம் என்றால் உடலால் செயல்படுவதாகும். குழந்தையைப் பார்த்து, 'எனக்கு எதுவுமே தோன்றவில்லை, அன்னை நினைவுதான் வந்தது', என்றால் ஆன்மாவால் செயல்படுவதாகும்.அப்படி நடக்கும்பொழுது அன்னைக்கு யாரும் போய்ச் சொல்ல வேண்டியதில்லை. கடிதம் எழுத வேண்டியதில்லை. விழிப்புற்ற ஆன்மா அன்னைக்குச் சொல்லும். பிரச்சினை உடனே தீரும். இயல்பாக வாழ்வின் அஸ்திவாரத்தை அறிவு, உணர்வு, செயலிலிருந்து, ஆன்மாவுக்கு மாற்றுவதை யோகம் எனவும், அம்முறையை, சரணாகதி எனவும் அறிகிறோம். - கர்மயோகி அவர்களின் அன்னையின் ஆசிரம வாழ்வில்  என்ற கட்டுரையில் இருந்து..

மலரும், மலர் கூறும் செய்தியும் - இறைவன் மீது பூரணமான அன்பு

Flowers are extremely receptive. All the flowers to which I have given a significance receive exactly the force I put into them and transmit it.  

 When I give them, I give you states of consciousness; the flowers are the mediums and it all depends on your receptivity whether they are effective or not.

 அன்னை பல நூறு மலர்களுக்குரிய சிறப்பு அம்சங்களையும் அவற்றை ஸ்ரீ அன்னை , அரவிந்தருக்குச் சமர்ப்பிப்பதால் நாம் பெறும் பலன்களையும் பற்றிக் கூறியுள்ளார். இன்றைய பகுதியில் மலரின் பலன்களையும், அதனோடு தொடர்புடைய செய்தியையும் காணலாம்.

மனிதன் இறைவனை நேசிக்க முடியும் என்பது அதிசயமான ஒன்று, ஆனால் அவன் மற்ற மனிதர்களிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துவதில்லை. வேறு எவரிடம் அவன் அன்பாயிருக்க முடியும்? Philanthropy ன் மூலம் இறைவனை அடைய முடியுமா?

(Philanthropy என்ற சொல்லுக்கு மனிதளவின நேயம், மனிதர்கள் பால் அன்பு, கொடையாண்மை , சமுதாயத்தொண்டு என பல 
அர்த்தங்கள் உள்ளன. ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தரின் இந்த சிந்தனைக்கு அன்னையின் விளக்கத்தைக்  காண்போம். )

Mother says  : It depends on what you mean by philanthropy. Normally, we call philanthropists those who do charitable works.

Here Sri Aurobindo does not use the word philanthropy,
for, as it is usually understood, philanthropy is a social and conventional attitude, a kind of magnified egoism which is not love but a condescending pity which assumes a patronising air.

 In this aphorism Sri Aurobindo refers to those who follow
the ascetic path in solitary search of a solitary God, by trying to cut themselves off completely from the world and men.

 இங்கு, ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர்  philanthropy என்ற சொல்லுக்கு நாம் வழக்கமாகக் கொள்ளும் அர்த்தத்தைக் குறிப்பிடவில்லை என்கிறார் அன்னை. உலகில் இருந்தும் மற்ற மனிதர்களில் இருந்தும் தம்மை விலக்கிக் கொண்டு இறைவனைத் தேடிச் செல்லும் ஆன்மீக வழியை இங்கு குறிப்பிடுகிறார், பகவான்.

But for Sri Aurobindo men form part of the Divine; and if
you truly love the Divine, how can you not love men, since they are an aspect of Himself?

ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தரைப் பொறுத்தவரை, மனிதன் இறைவனின் ஒரு பகுதியாவான். மேலும் நீங்கள் இறைவனின் மீது அன்பு செலுத்துகிறீர்கள் எனில், இறைவனின் ஓர் அம்சமாகிய  மனிதர்களிடம் அன்பு செலுத்தாமல் இருக்க முடியுமா என்ற கேள்வியும் எழுப்புகிறார் ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் .
