Flowers are extremely receptive. It is necessary therefore for you as a sadhak to turn entirely to the Mother in whom the Divine is manifest and not run after the appearances, the desire of which or the interest in which prevents you from meeting the Divine. Once the being is consecrated, then it can see the Divine every where —and then it can include all things in the one consciousness without a separate interest or desire. உலகில் எல்லாமே இறைத்தன்மை உடையது, ஏனெனில் அவற்றில் இறைவன் இருக்கிறான். ஆனால் அது வெளிப்படையாக இல்லாமல் மறைந்து உள்ளது என்கிறார் பகவான். நமது மனம் இறைஉணர்வோடு இல்லாமல் அவற்றைக் காண்பதால், அவற்றின் வெளித்தோற்றம் மட்டுமே நமக்குப் புலப்படுகிறது. உள்ளே மறைந்துள்ள இறைவன் நமக்குத் தெரிவதில்லை.இறைவனை மறைக்கும் வெளித் தோற்றங்களையும், நாம் இறைவனை சேர தடையாக இருக்கும் விருப்பங்களையும் விட்டுவிட்டு, நமது வாழ்வு அன்னையை நோக்கி திரும்ப வேண்டும் என்கிறார் பகவான். பூரண சமர்பணத்தின் மூலம் நாம் இறைவனைக் காண முடியும். Indeed, you should choose as friends only those who are wiser than yourself, those whose company ennobles you and helps you to master yourself, to progress, to act in a better way and see more clearly.

நாம் நம்மை விட புத்திசாலிகளுடனும், யாருடனான நட்பு நம்மை முன்னேற்றப் பாதையில் அழைத்துச் செல்லுமோ அவர்களுடன் நட்பு கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்கிறார் அன்னை.

the road to true realisation; it is he who can understand all, heal all, and always help on the path, help you not to fail, not to falter, not to fall, but to walk straight to the goal.

He is the true friend, the friend of good and bad days, the one who can understand, can heal, and who is always there when you need him. When you call him sincerely, he is always there to guide
and uphold you—and to love you in the true way.

இறைவன் ஒருவனே நமது சிறந்த நண்பனாக இருக்க முடியும் என்கிறார் அன்னை. அவன் ஒருவனிடம் மட்டுமே நாம் நம்மைப் பற்றி முழுவதையும் வெளிப்படுத்த முடியும், எதனையும் கூற முடியும். 

 

இறைவனால் மட்டுமே நம்மை புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியும், பிரச்சனைகளை சரி செய்ய முடியும், நீங்கள் தோல்வியில் வீழாமல் காக்க முடியும், வாழ்வில் சரியான பாதையில் வழி நடத்த முடியும் என்கிறார் ஸ்ரீ அன்னை.

Question:  மனிதனை விட நாய்கள் விசுவாசம் மிக்கது இல்லையா  என்ற கேள்விக்கு ஸ்ரீ அன்னையின் பதில். Certainly! Because it is their nature to be faithful, and they have no mental complications. What prevents men from being faithful are their mental complications. Most men are not faithful because they fear being duped. You don’t know what it is to be duped? They fear being deceived, being exploited. கண்டிப்பாக. விசுவாசம், அவற்றின் இயற்கையான குணம், மேலும் மனரீதியான சிக்கல்களும், நாய்களுக்கு இல்லை. மனிதனின் மனக் குழப்பங்களும், சிக்கல்களும் அவனை இப்பண்பை அடைவதில் இருந்து தடுக்கின்றன. நாம் ஏமாற்றப்பட்டு விடுவோமோ, தம்மை காரியம் சாதிப்பதற்காக மட்டும் பயன்படுத்துகிறார்களோ  என்ற பயம் அவர்களுக்கு உள்ளதால் அவர்கள் விசுவாசமாக இருப்பது இல்லை. They fear... Behind their faithfulness there is still a very big egoism which is more or less hidden, and there is always that bargaining, more or less conscious, of give-and-take: one gives oneself to someone but whether one tells oneself this or not, one expects something in exchange. You are faithful, but also want others to be faithful to you, that is, look after you, to be quite sweet to you, and, especially not to try to profit by your faithfulness. None of these complications are there in the dog, for its mind is very rudimentary (involving or limited to basic principles.) It does not have this marvellous capacity of reasoning that men have, a capacity which has made them commit so many stupidities. மனிதர்கள் காட்டும் விசுவாசத்தில் மிகப் பெரிய ஈகோவும் (ego) மறைந்து உள்ளது. பேரம் பேசுதல் மற்றும் தான் கொடுப்பதற்கு பிரதிபலனாக , மற்றவர்களிடம் இருந்து எதிர்பார்க்கும் பண்பும் அவர்களிடம் உள்ளது. நாம் நன்றியுடன், விசுவாசத்துடன் இருந்தால் மற்றவர்களும் நம்மிடம் அப்படியே நடந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கிறோம். மற்றவர்கள் நம்மை கவனித்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும், நம்மிடம் அன்புடன் இருக்க வேண்டும்,  ஆனால் நமது விசுவாசத்தை அவர்களின் லாபத்திற்கு பயன் படுத்திக் கொள்ளக்கூடாது என்றெல்லாம் நாம் பலவிதமாக நமது விசுவாசத்தைக் காட்டுவதில் நிபந்தனைகளைக் கொண்டு இருக்கிறோம். இவற்றில் எந்த விதமான எதிர்பார்ப்புகளும் நாய்களுக்கு இல்லை, ஏனென்னில் அவற்றின் மனம் மிக அடிப்படையான கொள்கைகளைக் கொண்டது. If we take this faithfulness, if we take devotion, take love, the meaning of  service, all these things, when they are above the egoistic level, they meet, in the sense that they give themselves and do not expect anything in exchange. And if you climb one step higher, instead of its being done with the idea of duty and abnegation, it is done with an intense joy which carries within itself its own reward, which needs nothing in exchange, for it carries its joy in itself. REF : -Questions and Answers 1954 - The Mother,  ஆனால், இந்த அளவு விசுவாசத்தையும், பக்தியையும், சேவையின் உண்மையான அர்த்தத்தையும் நாம் அனைத்திலும் காண்பித்தால், எதையும் பிரதிபலனாக எதிர்பார்க்காமல் நம்முடைய சேவையை மற்றவர்க்கு  தர முடியும்.                         --------

From Questions and Answers - 1929 Page 180

Do you know what the flower which we have called “Successful Future” signifies when given to you? It signifies the hope—nay, even the promise—that you will participate in the descent of the supramental world.

 வெற்றிகரமான  எதிர்காலத்தைக் குறிக்கும் மலர், சத்திய ஜீவிய சக்தி, உலகில் செயல்பட வேண்டியதற்காக நாம் நமது பங்கினை அளிப்பதற்கான நம்பிக்கையையும் உறுதியையும் அளிக்கிறது.

For that descent will be the successful consummation of our work, a descent of which the full glory has not yet been or else the whole face of life would have been different.

 By slow degrees the Supramental is exerting its influence; now one part of the being and now another feels the embrace or the touch of its divinity; but when it comes down in all its self-existent power, a supreme radical change will seize the whole nature.

We are moving nearer and  nearer the hour of its complete triumph. Once the world-conditions are ready the full descent will take place carrying everything before it.  Its presence will be unmistakable, its force will brook no resistance, doubts and difficulties will not torture you any longer.

 முழு வெற்றியை பெரும் வேளையை நாம் நெருங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். சத்திய ஜீவிய சக்தியை முழுமையாக அடைய உலகம் தயாராகும் பொழுது, அச்சக்தி இப்புவியில் முழுமையாக இறங்கும். 

For the Divine will stand manifest—unveiled in its total perfection. I do not, however, mean to say that the whole world will at once feel its presence or be transformed; but I do mean that a part of humanity will know and  participate in its descent—say, this little world of ours here. From there the transfiguring grace will most effectively radiate. And,  fortunately for the aspirants, that successful future will materialise for them in spite of all the obstacles set in its way by unregenerate human nature!

முழு உலகமும் சத்திய ஜீவிய சக்தியை ஒருநாள் உணரும். சத்திய ஜீவிய சக்தி இவ்வுலகில் முழுமையாக வர, மனித சமூகத்தின் ஒரு சிறிய பகுதி தன் பங்களிப்பைத் தருகிறது. இதன் மூலம் திருவுருமாற்றும் சக்தி, முழு வலிமை பெற்று,  எல்லாத் தடைகளையும் கடந்து, இவ்வுலகினருக்கு வெற்றிகரமான எதிர்காலத்தினை அளிக்கும்.

Think not of what you were, but of what you aspire to be; be altogether in what you want to realise. Turn from your dead past and look straight towards the future. Your religion, country, family lie there; it is the DIVINE.

It clothes its desires and preferences with all kinds of wonderful intentions and it hides its trickeries, resentments and disappointments under the most favourable appearances. To overcome all that, you must have the fearlessness of a true warrior, and an honesty, a straightforwardness, a sincerity that never fail. ........Each one has his own difficulty. And I have given the example already once, I think. For instance, a being who must represent fearlessness, courage, you know, a capacity to hold on without giving way before all dangers and all fights, usually somewhere in his being he is a terrible coward, and he has to struggle against this almost constantly because this represents the victory he has to win in the world.   ........Only when one does what he wants, knows what he wants, does what he wants and is able to direct himself with certitude, without being tossed about by the hazards of life, then one can go forward on the suprarational paths fearlessly, unhesitatingly and with the least danger. Grant that it may be also our sole occupation and that all our actions may help us towards this single goal.  - The Mother. We stand in the Presence of Him who has sacrificed his physical life in order to help more fully his work of transformation. He is always with us, aware of what we are doing, of all our thoughts, of all our feelings and all our actions.    கர்மயோகி அவர்களின் பல்வேறு கட்டுரைகளில் இருந்து.......... தன்னிடம் திருவுருமாற்றத்திற்காகவே பலர் வந்தனர் என்று அன்னை கூறுகிறார். தவற்றை விலக்கி, தீமையைப் போக்குவது திருவுருமாற்றம், பல ஜன்மப் பலன் ஒரு தரிசனத்தில் கிடைக்கும்.  திருவுருமாற்றம் தொடங்கும்வரை கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாகக் கர்மம் கரைகிறது. அதன் தீவிரம் குறைகிறது என்றாலும் திடீரென  முழுவதும் கர்மம் அழியக்கூடியது.   மூன்று திருவுருமாற்றங்கள்: 1. சைத்தியத் திருவுருமாற்றம் என்பது அகந்தையினின்று விடுபடுவது. 2. ஆன்மீகத் திருவுருமாற்றம். மனமோ, மனத்தின் சைத்தியப்புருஷனோ செயல் படுவதற்குப் பதிலாக முனிவர், ரிஷி, யோகி, தெய்வ மனங்களிலுள்ள சைத்தியப்புருஷன் செயல்படுவது. 3. சத்தியஜீவியத் திருவுருமாற்றம். பூரண யோகத்தின் முறை திருவுருமாற்றம். மனம் தன் அறிவை, ஞானமாக மாற்றி திருவுருமாற்றம் பெற முடியும். உணர்வு நம் ஆசையை அழித்து, பற்றைவிட்டு, ஆசையை அன்பாக மாற்றி, திருவுருமாற்றமடைய முடியும். உடல் திருவுருமாற்றம் அடைய அதன் பழக்கங்களை விடவேண்டும். திருவுருமாற்றம் மட்டுமே பழைய செயலை மாற்ற வல்லது. இல்லையெனில் செய்த காரியம் மாற காலத்திற்குக் காத்திருக்க வேண்டும். அது பல ஆண்டுகளாகலாம். அன்னை, ஆயிரமாண்டும் ஆகலாம் என்கிறார். முழு உண்மையில்லாமல் இருக்கலாம். உண்மையான வருத்தம் எழலாம். அப்பொழுது பழைய செயலை அருள் மாற்றும். ஆனால் பெரிய அதிர்ஷ்டம், பெருவெள்ளமாக வாராது. அது நடக்கப் பேரருள் தேவை.            - திரு கர்மயோகி அவர்கள்,  பூரணயோகம் - முதல் வாயில்கள் கட்டுரைகளில் இருந்து

The conversion of our thought and feeling without a corresponding conversion of the spirit and body of our works would be a maimed achievement.        - ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் வேலைகளின்  யோகம் என்பது நமது எண்ணங்களிலும், செயல்களிலும் - அறிவாலும், உணர்வாலும் இறைவனோடு ஒன்றி இருப்பது மட்டும் அன்று. அது பூரண யோகத்தின் தவிர்க்கமுடியாத முக்கியமான ஒரு பகுதியாகும்.   நமக்கு எந்த வேலை அளிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தாலும், அதனை எப்படி இறைவனின் கட்டளையாக ஏற்று செயல்பட வேண்டும் என்பதற்கு அன்னையின் விளக்கத்தைக் காணலாம். Mother says :You must be able, if you are ready to follow the divine order, to take up whatever work you are given, even a stupendous work, and leave it the next day with the same quietness with which you took it up and not feel that the responsibility is yours. There should be no attachment—to any object or any mode of life. You must be absolutely free. If you want to have the true yogic attitude, you must be able to accept everything that comes from the Divine and let it go easily and without regret. The attitude of the ascetic who says, “I want nothing” and the attitude of the man of the world who says, “I want this thing” are the same. (Ref: Words of the Mother -1) To work, to act with devotion and an inner consecration is also a spiritual discipline. - ஸ்ரீ அன்னை  (Ref: Questions and Answers - 1929) (நமது வேலை எதுவானாலும், அதனை முழுமையான ஈடுபாட்டோடும், ஆத்ம சமர்பணத்தொடும் செய்வது ஒரு பக்தி நெறியாகும் ) Question :When one works and wants to do one’s best, one needs much time. But generally we don’t have much time, we are in a hurry. How to do one’s best when one is in a hurry? Mother's Answer: And this is the best answer to all those who say, “Oh, if one wants to do things well, one must have time.” This is not true. For all that you do—study, play, work—there is only one solution: to increase one’s power of concentration (ஒருமுகப்படுத்தும் சக்தி). And when you acquire this concentration, it is no longer tiring. Naturally, in the beginning, it creates a tension, but when you have grown used to it, the tension diminishes, and a moment comes when what fatigues you is to be not thus concentrated, to disperse yourself, allow yourself to be swallowed by all kinds of things, and not to concentrate on what you do. One can succeed in doing things even better and more quickly by the power ofconcentration. And in this way you can make use of work as a means of growth; otherwise you have this vague idea that work must be done “disinterestedly”, but there is a great danger there, for one is very quick to confuse disinterestedness with indifference. வேலை தெரியாதவன் திணறுவதை நாம் பார்க்கிறோம். வேலை தெரிந்தவன் ஆர்வமாக, அழகாக வேலை செய்வது பார்க்க இனிக்கும். வேலையை நூறு, ஆயிரம் பாகமாகப் பிரித்து ஒவ்வொன்றையும் செய்யக் கற்றுக்கொள்வது உறுதியான ஞானம் பெறுவதாகும். இது ஞானம் பலனாக மாறும் பாதை. நாம் ஒரு வேலையை ஏன் செய்கிறோம் என்று தெரியாமல் இத்தனை நாள் செய்கிறோம். அது கடமையால் வந்தத் திறமை. அறிவு உடல் வந்து வேலை செய்வது என்றால் என்ஜினீயருக்குத் தெரியாதது helperக்குத் தெரியும். வேலையின் நுணுக்கத்தை அறிவுபூர்வமாகத் தெரிவது அறிவு உடல் செயல்படுவதாகும். இவர்கட்கு 3, 4 மடங்கு தெம்பும், உற்சாகமுமிருக்கும். பொதுவாக கீழிருந்து எளிதில் மேலே போய்விடுவார்கள். மனம் உடலைவிட அதிகப் தெம்புள்ளது. மனம் உடல் வந்து விழிப்புற்றால் தெம்பு ஏராளமாக எழும். மேல்நிலை கீழே வந்து வேலை செய்யும்பொழுது பலன் அதிகம். ஒரு நாட்டின் சிறப்பு நாட்டில் அடிமட்டத்திலுள்ளவர் திறமையைக் காட்டும்.பணம் அதுபோல் உற்பத்தியானது.                    - திரு கர்மயோகி அவர்கள்

(Ref: Words of the Mother) Divine Mother, Firstly, what is the role of the United States with regard to the building of the new world?   The work of U.S.A. is to provide the financial help needed to prepare the earth for the new creation.   Secondly, what must the people of the United States do in order to begin to be able to fulfil this role? Become aware of those, individual or organisation, capable of bringing about this transformation and give them the necessary money. Sri Aurobindo came upon earth to announce the manifestation of the supramental world and not merely did he announce this manifestation but embodied also in part the supramental force and showed by example what one must do to prepare oneself for manifesting it. The best thing we can do is to study all that he has told us and endeavour to follow his example and prepare ourselves for the new manifestation. This gives life its real sense and will help us to overcome all obstacles. What is surrender? Mother says : It means that one gives oneself entirely to the Divine. Yes, and then what happens? If you give yourself entirely to the Divine, it is He who does the Yoga, it is no longer you; hence this is not very difficult; while if you do tapasya, it is you yourself who do the yoga and you carry its whole responsibility—it is there the danger lies. But there are people who prefer to have the whole responsibility, with its dangers, because they have a very independent spirit. They are not perhaps in a great hurry— if they need several lives to succeed, it does not matter to them. But there are others who want to go quicker and be more sure of reaching the goal; well, these give over the whole responsibility to the Divine. சரணாகதி என்பது ஒருவர் தம்மை முழுவதுமாக இறைவனிடம் ஒப்படைப்பது ஆகும். அப்படி, முழுவதுமாக சரணாகதி அடையும் பொழுது, யோகம் என்பதை நாம் செய்வதில்லை, நமக்காக இறைவனே செய்கிறான். ஆனால், தவ நெறிகளை, தவ வாழ்க்கையை பின்பற்றி வாழும் வாழ்வில், யோகத்தை நாமே செய்கிறோம், அதில் வரும் ஆபத்துகளையும் நாமே  ஏற்கிறோம். ஆனாலும், அனைத்திற்கும் தாமே பொறுபேற்று, அதில் வரும் ஆபத்துகளையும் ஏற்று தாமே யோகத்தை ஏற்பவர்கள் உலகில் உள்ளனர். அவர்கள் மிகவும் நிதானமாக, எத்தனை பிறவிகள் எடுத்தாலும் தமது யோகத்தை தொடரும் தனிச் சிறப்பு மிக்கவர்கள். யோகபாதையில் விரைவாக சென்று இலட்சியத்தை அடையவேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் கொண்டவர்கள் சரணாகதியை நாடுகிறனர். இறைவன் இவர்களுடைய வாழ்வை ஏற்று, ஆபத்துகளை விலக்கி, அத்தனை பொறுப்புகளையும் ஏற்று, யோக பாதையில் அவர்களை விரைவாக முன்னேறும் படி, வழி நடத்துகிறான். சரணாகதியின் சிறப்பு இதுவே ஆகும்.  - Questions and Answers 1929 (14 April) - ஸ்ரீ அன்னை  (Ref: Questions and Answers - 1929)

For human nature is not made for that and the human mind is not built that way. - ஸ்ரீ அன்னை  நாள் முழுவதற்கும் நீங்கள் பிரார்த்தனை செய்தாலும், அவற்றில் நான்கில் மூன்று பங்கு வெறும் Mechanical செயலாகிவிடுகிறது. மனம் அதில் ஒன்றுவதில்லை. இது இயல்பே. மனம் ஒரு முகமாகி பிரார்த்தனையில் செயல்பட mental muscle-building எனும் மனதை ஒருமுகப் படுத்தும் பயிற்சியை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும்என்கிறார் அன்னை. ....In order to concentrate and meditate one must do an exercise which I could call the “mental muscle-building” of concentration.... ....... The same thing for the urge of prayer: suddenly a flame is lit, you feel an enthusiastic ´elan, a great fervour, and express it in words which, to be true, must be spontaneous. This must come from the heart, directly, with ardour, without passing through the head. That is a prayer. If there are just words jostling in your head, it is no longer a prayer. மனம் ஈடுபடாமல், வரும் வெறும் வார்த்தைகள் பிரார்த்தனை ஆகாது. - ஸ்ரீ அன்னை  (Ref: Questions and Answers - 1956) Of course, this may increase a great deal, but there is always a limit; and when the limit is reached one must stop, that’s all. It is not an insincerity, it is an incapacity. What becomes insincere is if you pretend to meditate when you are no longer meditating or you say prayers like many people who go to the temple or to church, perform ceremonies and repeat their prayers as one repeats a more or less well-learnt lesson. Then it is no longer either prayer or meditation, it is simply a profession. It is not interesting.

Flowers are extremely receptive. We shall see later whether this psychic being has the possibility of transforming its body and itself creating an intermediate species between the animal man and superman—we shall study this later—but still, for the moment, it is an immortal soul which becomes more and more conscious of itself in the body of man. - ஸ்ரீ அன்னை ....... Nature makes a form capable of expressing more completely the spirit which this form contains. But if it were like this, a form comes, develops, reaches its highest point and is followed by another form; the others do not disappear, but the individual does not progress. The individual dog or monkey, for instance, belongs to a species which has its own peculiar characteristics; when the monkey or the man arrives at the height of its possibilities, that is, when a human individual becomes the best type of humanity, it will be finished; the individual will not be able to progress any farther.He belongs to the human species, he will continue to belong to it. So, from the point of view of terrestrial history there is a progress, for each species represents a progress compared with the preceding species; but from the point of view of the individual, there is no progress: he is born, he follows his development, dies and disappears. Therefore, to ensure the progress of the individual, it was necessary to find another means; this one was not adequate. But within the individual, contained in each form, there is an organisation of consciousness which is closer to and more directly under the influence of the inner divine Presence, and the form which is under this influence—this kind of inner concentration of energy —has a life independent of the physical form—this is what we generally call the “soul” or the “psychic being”—and since it is organised around the divine centre it partakes of the divine nature which is immortal, eternal. - ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர். (Ref: Questions and Answers - 1957) ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் கூறிய இந்த கருத்தின் அடிப்படையில், திரு கர்மயோகி அளிக்கும் விளக்கத்தைக் காணலாம்.  சார்லஸ் டார்வின் தம் பரிணாமக் கொள்கையில் குரங்கு மனிதனாயிற்று என்றார். மனிதன் சத்தியஜீவனாகும் பரிணாமத்தைப் பொருத்தவரை நாம் டார்வினுடைய குரங்காக இருக்கிறோம். மனிதக் குரங்கு காட்டிற்குரியது. நாமறிந்த மனிதனாக தான் மாறமுடியும் என குரங்குக்குத் தோன்றமுடியாது. மனிதனுக்குக் குரங்கிற்கில்லாத புதியது ஒன்றுண்டு. அது பகுத்தறிவு. பகுத்தறிவால் மனிதன் உலக விஷயங்களைப் பகுத்துணர்கிறான். தன் உள்ளேயுள்ள உணர்வுகளை அறியவும் பகுத்தறிவை மனிதன் பயன்படுத்துகிறான். பழக்கத்தாலும், விலங்குணர்வாலும் இன்று மனிதன் செயல்படுகிறான். ஆனால் பகுத்தறிவு அவற்றை மிஞ்சக் கூடியது. குரங்காக இருந்தபொழுது இருந்த காட்டுவாழ்வைக் கடந்துவந்த மனிதன், வீடு கட்டுகிறான், கடலை ஆள்கிறான், புயலையும், வெள்ளத்தையும் வெல்கிறான், சட்டமியற்றுகிறான், மனம் வளர்ந்து, ஆன்மவிழிப்பை நாடுகிறான். மனிதக்குரங்கால் இவற்றை நினைக்கமுடியுமா? தீர்க்கதரிசனம் அதற்குண்டா? இவற்றையெல்லாம் குரங்கால் சிந்திக்க முடியும் என்று கொண்டாலும், ஒரு நாள் தானே அந்த மனிதனாகப் போவது அதற்குத் தெரியுமா? மனிதன் பகுத்தறிவு பெற்றான்.கற்பனையும், ஞானமும் அவனுக்குண்டு. மனிதவாழ்வைவிட உயர்ந்த வாழ்வை அவனால்  நினைக்க முடியும். அந்த வாழ்வுக்குத் தன்னை உயர்த்த வேண்டும் எனவும் அவனால் கருத முடியும். பரம்பொருள்  நிலையை மனிதன் அறிவான். அந்நிலை குறையற்றது, விரும்பத்தக்கது எனவும் மனிதனுக்குத் தெரியும். தவறற்ற ஞானமுண்டு என மனிதனுக்குப் புரியும். ஆனந்தம் என்பது வலியற்ற நிலை என்பது அவனுக்கு விளங்கும். தோல்வியற்ற சக்தியை அவனால் கற்பனை செய்யமுடியும். தூய்மையும், பூரணமும் மனிதனுக்கு குறையற்றதாகும், வரையறையற்றதாகும். தெய்வம் அத்தகையது என மனிதன் நினைக்கிறான். அவனறியும் சொர்க்கம் அப்படிப்பட்டதேயாகும். ஆனால் பகுத்தறிவு அவற்றை ஏற்காது. தெய்வம் குறையற்ற நிறைவுள்ளது என மனிதன் நினைப்பது அவன் தன் சிறப்பை அறிவதாகும். "எதிர்காலத்தில் நீயே மனிதனாவாய்'' எனக் குரங்கிடம் கூறியிருந்தால் அது திகைப்புற்றிருக்கும். மனிதனுடைய தெய்வீகக் கனவை உலகில் அடைய முடியும் என்றால் மனிதனுக்கும் திகைப்பேற்படுகிறது. குழப்பத்தை விலக்கி, ஒழுங்கை ஏற்பது பகுத்தறிவு. இல்லாதவற்றை விலக்கி, பயன்படும் நல்லதை ஏற்க பகுத்தறிவு பயன்படும்.அடிப்படையில் பகுத்தறிவு இறைவனை நாடுகிறது. தவற்றை விலக்கவோ, முடிவாக விலக்கவோ பகுத்தறிவு முயலவில்லை. பெரிய உண்மையையும் அது நாடவில்லை. முடிவான சத்தியமே அதன் இலக்கு. அப்படிப்பட்ட சத்தியம், நித்தியம். இருநிலைகள் என்பனவெல்லாம் முடிவில் அச்சத்தியத்தை நாடுகின்றன. இன்று நாம் பகுத்தறிவைப் பயன்படுத்தும் உயர்ந்த முறைகள் அப்படிக் கூறவில்லை. எனினும் அது முடியும். அந்த ஞானம், பகுத்தறிவுக்குச் சொந்தமானது. கலப்பற்ற சந்தோஷத்தை மனிதனால் நினைக்க முடியும் என்கிறார் ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர். துன்பம் அழியாது என மனம் திட்டவட்டமாகக் கூறுகிறது. அதுவே துன்பத்திற்குக் காரணம். இதயத்தின் பின்னுள்ள நம்பிக்கையைப் பகுத்தறிவு எட்ட முடியும். அது நம்பிக்கையின் உறைவிடம். அந்த நம்பிக்கையால் குறையை விலக்க முடியும் என்று நம்பமுடியும். இதுவே பகுத்தறிவின் பங்கு. உடலிடம்  வந்தால் இதயம் செயலற்றுப்போவதை பகவான் சுட்டிக் காட்டுகிறார். நம்மால் வலி அழியக்கூடியது என நம்ப முடியாது. அதனால்தான் இதுவரை எவரும் மரணம் அழியக் கூடியது என்று நினைக்கவில்லை. - திரு. கர்மயோகி அவர்கள்  REF: http://www.karmayogi.net/?q=swaroopamsubhavam1
