கதையும் கருத்தும் - 2

பொறுமை..          வாழ்வில் நம்மில் பல பேருக்கு இல்லாத ஒன்று, அல்லது நாம் பின்பற்ற முயற்சிக்கும் நற்பண்புகளில் ஒன்று. அன்னையை ஏற்ற அனைவரும் கடைபிடிக்க வேண்டியதில் இன்றியமையாத ஒன்று இது. பொறுத்தார் பூமியாள்வார் என்பது பழமொழி. பொறுமையின் சிறப்பை அறிந்த போதும் அதனை பின்பற்றுவதில் தவறுகிறோம். நாம் பல சந்தர்பங்களில், பொறுமையையினை இழந்து, அறியாமையால் கோபம் அல்லது கவலை என அன்னையின் வாழ்விற்குப் பொருந்தாத உணர்வுகளுக்கு ஆளாகிறோம். இல்லையா? சிந்திப்போம்.

ஸ்ரீ அன்னை, தனது புத்தகங்களில் தனது பல்வேறு அறிவுரைகளை, கதைகளின் மூலம் விளக்கியுள்ளார். பொறுமையை என்ற பண்பினைப் பற்றியும், ஆன்மீகத்தில் அதன் முக்கியத்துவத்தினைப் பற்றியும் கூறியுள்ளார் ஸ்ரீ அன்னை. இன்று அவரே கூறிய கதையையும், அதன் மூலம் நாம் புரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டிய கருத்தினையும் காண்போம்.

இனி கதைக்குச் செல்வோம். ..

The Arabian poet, Al Kosai, lived in the desert. One day he came across a fine Naba tree and from its branches he made a bow and some arrows.

At nightfall he set out to hunt wild asses. Soon he heard
the hoof-beats of a moving herd. So he shot his first arrow. But
he had bent the bow with such strength that the arrow, passing
right through the body of one of the animals, dashed against
a nearby rock. When he heard the sound of wood on stone
Al Kosai thought he had missed his mark. So then he shot his
second arrow and once more the arrow passed through an ass
and struck the rock. Again Al Kosai thought he had missed his
mark. In the same way he shot a third arrow, and a fourth, and a
fifth, and each time he heard the same sound. When it happened
for the fifth time, he broke his bow in rage.

At dawn he saw five asses in front of the rock.
If he had been more patient and waited until daybreak, he
would have kept his peace of mind and his bow as well.

அல் கொஸய் என்ற அரேபியப் புலவர் ஒரு பாலைவனத்தில் வசித்தார். ஒரு நாபா மரத்தினைக் கண்ட அவர் அதன் கிளைகளை வைத்து, ஒரு வலிமையான வில்லினையும், அம்புகளையும் உருவாக்கினார்.

அன்றைய இரவு, காட்டுக்கழுதைகளை வேட்டையாடச் செல்கிறார். இரவில் கழுதைகளின் குளம்புச்  சப்தங்களைக் கேட்ட அவர், அந்த திசை நோக்கி, தனது முதல் அம்பை எய்கிறார். அவரது அம்பு ஒரு மிருகத்தின் மீது பட்டு, அதன் உடலைத் துளைத்துச் சென்று, அருகில் இருந்த பாறையில் பட்டு ஒலி எழுப்புகிறது. இதனைக் கேட்ட அவர், தன் குறி தவறி விட்டதாக எண்ணுகிறார். இரண்டாவது அம்பையும் எய்கிறார். மீதும் அதே ஒலி வருகிறது. அப்படியாக அடுத்தடுத்து அம்புகளை எய்யும் அவர், முடிவில் தனது ஐந்தாவது அம்பையும் எய்கிறார். மீதும் அதே ஒலி எழுந்தது. தனது முயற்சிகள அனைத்தும் தோல்வி அடைந்ததாக நினைத்து, கோபம் கொண்ட அவர், தனது முயற்சியால் தான் உருவாகிய வில்லினையும் உடைத்து எறிகிறார்.

மறுநாள் காலை அவர் ஒரு பெரிய பாறையின் முன்பு, ஐந்து காட்டுக் கழுதைகள் தனது அம்புகளினால் வீழ்த்தப்பட்டு இருப்பதைக் காண்கிறார். அவர் காலை வரை பொறுமையாக இருந்திருந்தால், அவருக்கு மன நிம்மதியும் கிடைதிருப்பதோடு, அவர் தான் முயன்று செய்த வில்லினையும் இழந்து இருக்க மாட்டார்.

இந்த சிறிய கதையில்,நாம் சிந்திக்க சில விஷயங்களும் உள்ளன.

1. பொறுமையின்மை இழப்பினைத் தருகிறது. அவர் தனது முயற்சியினால் பாடுபட்டு செய்த வில்லினை உடைத்தெறிந்தார்.
2. பொறுமையின்மை சிந்தனைகளைத் தடுக்கிறது. அவர் தன் மீது நம்பிக்கையை இழக்கிறார்.
3. பொறுமையின்மை மனநிம்மதியை அழிக்கிறது. காலை வரை தான் தோல்வி அடைந்ததாக எண்ணி  வருந்தி, நிம்மதியை இழக்கிறார்.

ஸ்ரீ அன்னை மேலும் கூறுகிறார்...

If one wants to do a divine work upon earth, one must come with tons of patience and endurance.

இறைவனுக்கு சேவை செய்யவேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் கொண்ட ஒருவர், அளவில்லாத பொறுமையும், விடா முயற்சியையும் கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும் என்று இறை சேவையில், வாழ்வை இறைவனுக்கு அர்பணிக்கும் பணியில், பொறுமையின் அவசியத்தை வலியுருத்துகிறார். 

........One must know how to live in eternity and wait for the consciousness to awaken in
everyone—the consciousness of what true integrity is. 

.............If there is a sincerity in the aspiration and a patient will to arrive at the higher consciousness in spite of all obstacles, then the opening in one form or another is sure to come.”

If everything comes from Him, why are there so many errors?

                    (எல்லாமே  இறைவனிடம் இருந்து வருகிறது எனில், ஏன் தவறுகள் நிகழ்கின்றன ? )

                   ஸ்ரீ அன்னையின் விளக்கம்:

You must not believe that everything that happens to you in life comes to you naturally from the Divine, that is, that it is the Truth-Consciousness which is directing your life. For if everything came from Him, it would be impossible for you to make a mistake.

              (இறைவனிடம் இருந்து மட்டுமே அனைத்தும் வருகிறது என்றால், நீங்கள் தவறு செய்ய வாய்ப்பே இல்லை.)

How does it happen that there’s error everywhere?  Why do things go in opposition to the Divine and to what they ought
to be?... Because there are numerous elements which cross each other and intervene.

                     (ஏன் தவறுகள் நிகழ்கின்றன? நிகழ்வுகள் இறைவனுக்கு எதிரானதாக மாற காரணம் என்ன?

Wills cross each other, the strongest gets
the best of it. It is this complexity of norms that has created a determinism. The divineWill is completely veiled by this host of things. So I have said here (Mother takes her book): “You must accept all things—and only those things—that come from the Divine. Because things can come from concealed desires. The desires work in the subconscious and attract things to you of which possibly you may not recognise the origin, but which do not come from the Divine but from disguised desires.”

ஏனென்னில், நமது பலவிதமான விருப்பங்கள் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று குறுக்கிடுகின்றன. இந்த சிக்கலான எண்ணங்களால், விருப்பங்களால், இறைவனின் எண்ணம் முழுவதுமாக மறைக்கப்பட்டு விடுகிறது, தவறுகள் எழ இது காரணமாகிறது.

இறைவனிடம் இருந்து வருவதை மட்டுமே ஏற்க நீங்கள் விருப்பம் கொள்ள வேண்டும். நமது எல்லா செயல்களிலும் விருப்பம், ஆசை என்பது மறைந்துள்ளது.நமது ஆழ்மனதில் உறைந்துள்ள அந்த ஆசைகள், வாழ்வில் மற்ற நிகழ்வுகள் நடக்க காரணமாகின்றன. அவை நடப்பதர்க்கான மூல காரணத்தை நாம் உணர்வது இல்லை. அவற்றில் தவறுகள் இருப்பின், அவை நம் ஆசைகள் குறுக்கிடுவதால் மட்டுமே அன்றி, தெய்வத்தினிடம் இருந்து வருவதில்லை.

நமது  சிந்தனைக்கு :

அன்னையின் வாழ்வில் நாம் வரும்  போது  அல்லது வர  முயற்சிக்கும் போது, நமது வாழ்வில்  மாற்றங்கள் என்பது மாறாமல் வரும். திருவுருமாற்றம் நிகழ, நாம் அன்னையை சரணாகதி அடையும் அதே வேளையில், நமது எண்ணத்திலும், செயலிலும், சொல்லிலும், உணர்விலும்  நாம் எத்தகைய மாற்றங்களைக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்பதற்கு, நம்மைப்பற்றி நாமே அறிவது உதவி செய்யும். அதற்கான பகுதியே இந்த நமது சிந்தனைப் பகுதி.

வாழ்வில் நமக்கு பல வகையிலும் ஆசைகளும், விருப்பு வெறுப்புகளும் மற்றும் Choices உள்ளன. நாம் விருப்பம் கொண்ட ஒரு செயல் நமக்கு நன்மைதான் தரும் என்பதனையும், நமக்கு வெறுப்பைத் தரும் ஒன்று, நமக்கு தீமை மட்டுமே செய்யும் என்பதனையும் கூற முடியாது. ஏனெனில், இவையாவும், மனிதனின் அறிவால் மட்டும் அளக்கப்படுவன ஆகும். அவனது ego செயல்படும் போது, செய்யும் செயலின் நன்மை தீமையை பொருத்து கர்மம் அவனை ஆட்கொள்கிறது.

நமது விருப்பங்கள் அல்லது தேவைகளை, அவற்றின் விளைவுகளைப் பற்றி கூட எண்ணாமல், நமது சக்தியை பயன்படுத்தியோ அல்லது பிரார்த்தனையின் மூலமோ மக்கள் நிறைவேற்றிக் கொள்கிறார்கள் இல்லையா?  இத்தனை பிரார்த்தனைகளை வாழ்வு முழுது செய்யும் நாம், இது இறைவனின் விருப்பத்திற்கு உட்பட்டதா என்பதை அறிய முயல்கிறோமா என்பதே இன்றைய சிந்தனை. அன்னையின் வாழ்வில் உள்ள ஒருவர், இறைவனின் விருப்பத்தினை நாடும் போது, செயலில் வெற்றி கிடைப்பதோடு, அவர் விருப்பு, வெறுப்பு அற்ற வாழ்வைப் பெறுவதோடு, கர்மத்தில் இருந்து விடுதலை பெறுவதோடு, இறைவனின் விருப்பத்தினை நிறைவேற்றும் ஒரு கருவியும் ஆகிறார். அத்தகைய உன்னதமான நிலையிலைப் பெற, நம் விருபத்தினை தவிர்த்து, இறைவனின் நோக்கம் என்ன என்பதனை அறிய நாம் முற்படவேண்டும்.

அன்னை இதுபற்றி கூறும் விளக்கத்தினைக் காண்போம்.

Question: How can we know what the divine Will is?

 இறைவனின் விருப்பத்தை நாம் எப்படி அறியமுடியும் என்ற கேள்விக்கு அன்னையின் பதில்.

One does not know it, one feels it. And in order to feel it one must will with such an intensity, such sincerity, that every obstacle disappears. As long as you have a preference, a desire, an attraction, a liking, all these veil the Truth from you. Hence,
the first thing to do is to try to master, govern, correct all the movements of your consciousness and eliminate those which cannot be changed until all becomes a perfect and permanent expression of the Truth.

 இறைவனின் விருப்பத்தை நாம் அறிய முடியாது, உணரவே முடியும் என்கிறார் அன்னை. அதனை உணர, நாம் அவ்வளவு உண்மையுடன் இருந்து, அதற்குண்டான அத்தனை தடைகளும் மறையும் வரை முயல வேண்டும். நமக்கு சொந்த விருப்பங்களும், ஆசைகளும், பற்றும் இருக்கும் வரை உண்மை அல்லது சத்தியத்தில் இருந்து விலகுகிறோம். அதனால், இறைவனை அறிய, நமது உணர்வு நிலையை consciousness-ஐ, அதன் இயக்கங்களை, அது உண்மையின் பாதையை விட்டு விலகாமல், அது எப்போது உண்மையின் முழு பிரதிபலிப்பாக முழுமையாக ஆகிறதோ, அதுவரையிலும், நாம் கவனமாகப் பார்த்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.

And even towill this is not enough, for very often one forgets to will it. What is necessary is an aspiration which burns in the being like a constant fire, and every time you have a desire, a preference, an attraction it must be thrown into this fire. If you do this persistently, you will see that a little gleam of true consciousness begins to dawn in your ordinary consciousness.

 உண்மையைப் பின்பற்ற, விருப்பம் மட்டும் போதாது. உண்மையைப் பற்ற வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசையானது, aspiration, நம் மனதில் அணையாத தீயினைப் போல இருக்கவேண்டும். எந்த ஆசை வந்தாலும், விருப்பம் எழுந்தாலும், பற்று வந்தாலும், இத்தீயிடம் நாம் அவற்றைச் சேர்த்துவிட வேண்டும். இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து செய்யும் பொது, நமது சாதாரண மனிதனுக்குரிய உணர்வு நிலை, உண்மைக்குரிய உணர்வு நிலையை எட்டும் என்கிறார் அன்னை.

At first it will be faint, very far behind all the din of desires, preferences, attractions, likings. But you must go behind all this and find that true consciousness, all calm, tranquil, almost silent.

Those who are in contact with the true consciousness see all the possibilities at the same time and may deliberately choose even the most unfavourable, if necessary. But to reach this point,
you must go a long way.

உண்மை, சத்தியம் என்ற உணர்வு நிலையை consciousness நாம் பெறும்போது, ஒரு செயல் நடக்க எல்லாவிதமான, சாதகமான சூழலும் உருவாவதோடு, இதுநாள் வரை நாம் வெறுத்த அல்லது விரும்பாத  வழியினைக் கூட தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் சூழ்நிலையும் வரலாம். ஏனெனில் அதுவே இறைவனின் விருப்பமாக இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் நாம் இந்த நிலையை அடைய, இன்னும் அன்னையின் சத்திய வழியில் தொலை தூரம் பயணிக்கக் வேண்டும்.


அன்னையின் வழி செல்வோம். சத்தியத்தின்உணர்வைப்பெறுவோம்.அன்னையின் திருப்பாதங்களே சரணம் !

Do you know what the flower which we have called “Successful Future” signifies when given to you? It signifies the hope—nay, even the promise—that you will participate in the descent of the supramental world.

 வெற்றிகரமான  எதிர்காலத்தைக் குறிக்கும் மலர், சத்திய ஜீவிய சக்தி, உலகில் செயல்பட வேண்டியதற்காக நாம் நமது பங்கினை அளிப்பதற்கான நம்பிக்கையையும் உறுதியையும் அளிக்கிறது.

For that descent will be the successful consummation of our work, a descent of which the full glory has not yet been or else the whole face of life would have been different.

 By slow degrees the Supramental is exerting its influence; now one part of the being and now another feels the embrace or the touch of its divinity; but when it comes down in all its self-existent power, a supreme radical change will seize the whole nature.

We are moving nearer and  nearer the hour of its complete triumph. Once the world-conditions are ready the full descent will take place carrying everything before it.  Its presence will be unmistakable, its force will brook no resistance, doubts and difficulties will not torture you any longer.

 முழு வெற்றியை பெரும் வேளையை நாம் நெருங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். சத்திய ஜீவிய சக்தியை முழுமையாக அடைய உலகம் தயாராகும் பொழுது, அச்சக்தி இப்புவியில் முழுமையாக இறங்கும். 

For the Divine will stand manifest—unveiled in its total perfection. I do not, however, mean to say that the whole world will at once feel its presence or be transformed; but I do mean that a part of humanity will know and  participate in its descent—say, this little world of ours here. From there the transfiguring grace will most effectively radiate. And,  fortunately for the aspirants, that successful future will materialise for them in spite of all the obstacles set in its way by unregenerate human nature!

முழு உலகமும் சத்திய ஜீவிய சக்தியை ஒருநாள் உணரும். சத்திய ஜீவிய சக்தி இவ்வுலகில் முழுமையாக வர, மனித சமூகத்தின் ஒரு சிறிய பகுதி தன் பங்களிப்பைத் தருகிறது. இதன் மூலம் திருவுருமாற்றும் சக்தி, முழு வலிமை பெற்று,  எல்லாத் தடைகளையும் கடந்து, இவ்வுலகினருக்கு வெற்றிகரமான எதிர்காலத்தினை அளிக்கும்.

Think not of what you were, but of what you aspire to be; be altogether in what you want to realise. Turn from your dead past and look straight towards the future. Your religion, country, family lie there; it is the DIVINE.
